This is truely covert. the in ear, wireless earpiece.
A small battery powered earpiece with no wires. Although called a radio earpiece, these operate with a magnetic field, similar to deaf aids. The wearer has to used a neck loop under their garmets which is connected to the two way radio. This radiates the received signal up into the earpiece.
These are normally used with a two wire setup with a PTT and Mike down the sleeve.
At times they suffer from low ac buzz when working under fluorescent lights. |  |
